A broad theme of World Press Freedom Day 2017 is the interrelation between freedom, justice and the rule of law. ANM continues in our commitment to exposing what we’ve come to call “over-thereism” on press freedom, i.e. threats to free-speech happen in other countries not in good old Blighty. That’s the kool-aid, but a sizeable and growing underclass of people in the UK are being forced to live in the shadow of that lie.
And we’re some of them – stalked and harassed for years by a loud, fake, misogynist, disablist, mental-health-smearing bunch of “rationalists”, all loudly guzzling at the charity trough to tout high faluting slogans of compassionate engagement, the “golden rule”, the importance of evidence, and the necessity to uproot and expose pseudo-science, quackery, and cults.
Our family was nevertheless forced precisely through their very real democracy-vacuum and lies, to relocate across the planet and seek justice. And that’s when we found out just how far the British establishment is willing to go to protect abuse of all kinds. It’s certainly not shy of adopting, using, and exploiting child sexual abuse to execute any convenient cover-up.
Leveraging Child Sexual Abuse
On World Press Freedom Day 2017 we remember how in court Jonathan Price, supposed Human Rights champion, shouted at me that comparing the deceitful tactics of Andy Lewis with Savile’s was outrageous. Furiously waving Savile’s sexual abuse in front of the court to elicit a knee-jerk response, in fact he knew full well that any discussion of grooming in our publications referred to the “cult” of Steiner education, as proclaimed by Lewis himself on his quacking Quackometer blog, and specifically no other sort.
My robust response in court was: no Mr Price, you and your clients are the ones outrageously using Savile’s wicked proclivities to obfuscate the extremely obvious similarities in their manner and tactics of hiding their anti-democratic abuse in plain sight.
(In a yet further spectacular and warped deceit, this ‘hiding in plain sight’ is inverted yet further by being exactly what Lewis and his ilk of fake skeptics accuse the “cult”of Steiner of doing.)
But the lure of child sexual abuse was too great for Doughty St Chambers’ Price, for those fake skeptic publishers, their fake skeptic solicitor Robert Dougans of Bryan Cave, and the fakely “impartial” judges who, in spite of being forced by facts to admit that no such inference existed, made it up anyway.
Yes I’m saying a UK Judge (and those parroting him) have openly used and continue to employ the spectre of child sexual abuse to shut down freedom of speech.
In the Uk the type of creepy cultish grooming behaviour of Melanie Byng and her Dr/Prof husband Richard Byng, approaching a grieving “ex-cult” family, “to help” them, then violently repudiating stalking and smearing them throughout the bereavement and beyond, this type of grooming must be protected even if that involves using child sexual abuse.
No wonder the CSA enquiry gets nowhere: it certainly looks like sexual abuse is far too useful to the establishment: it’s a very buoyant currency indeed.
Pseudo-Critical minds for Critical Times
The facile tendency to hide behind any power abuse to push self-seeking agendas, hurt others and shut down free-speech is visible throughout UK politics, and increasingly especially in science journalism, where the shameful PACE cover-up is again in the news.
UK fake-debate also often involves the same people. Earlier this year for example we even had to venture into the shark infested waters of the Vaxxed furore when we saw the same perjurious smearing liar weighing in to close down debate, with the usual complacent projections, his habitual furtive references to “secrecy”, and telling distraught parents to “suck it up”.
Whatever the subject, it should be clear that reason cannot thrive if people are being told what to do and how to think by fake skeptics provably leveraging knee-jerk responses to the sexual abuse of children to shut down debate.
In ANM’s view the UK establishment needs to be shamed this Press Freedom Day 2017 by being asked to stop using child sexual abuse to cover up both sexual and non-sexual abuses. It’s a disgusting habit, steeped in collusion.
Genuine Press Freedom matters so much more than the fragile pampered egos of a bunch of bossy, disablist and self serving so-called scientists, and the misogynist old male judges protecting them.
Human Rights are for Humans
The theme for today, Justice for all as a pre-requisite for free expression, so easily understandable when we see abuses over there, to them, needs to be also recognised when it happens over here, to us.
No we weren’t manacled and thrown in a concrete cell for speaking out – but after years of polite enquiry, met with networked coordinated abuse, our words were nevertheless changed in court, and obviously false meanings attached in order to steal our home and give it to Lewis and Byng, the main perpetrators of it, who were allowed to withhold evidence of their smears to top “big-hitter” journalists.
The severe psychological assault we’ve been subjected to, including from the gas-lighting and mendacious judicial behaviour we have encountered, is obviously against our human rights, and the human rights of our children who are certainly being actually abused by it, yet as we don’t appear to qualify for human status that is of little consequence – and that, as so many others know, is the reality freedom of speech in the UK.
Beware of Pseudo-Scientists
Studies keep emerging about our tendencies to double down on entrenched beliefs, especially when facts are presented. On World Press Freedom Day 2017, we all need to be aware and be vigilant because our documented evidence shows that those identifying as standing up for science, are often not only blind to their own fallibility in this respect, but also power hungry, and more than willing to manipulate any abusive platform, to push their authoritarian agendas.
On World Press Freedom Day 2017 it ridicules healthy expression, that groups of supposed compassionate rationalists are using the public perception that they value objectivity, in order to morph – in plain sight – into an army of ferocious, free-speech-crushing bullies, protected by the state.
